and in my heart, O Lord, a time of rejoicing in the good gifts of family and friends and the blessing of celebrating music and giftedness this night. We who are made in your image sometimes bring a gift to the world that echoes your compassion and your love and sings both love song and lament in the joys and losses around. You are the source of the music, we are but the instrument, the instrument that when faithful in the listening is enough to raise us up to highest heaven. Thank you that creativity, voice, and music are such magnificent reminders of your goodness and grandeur. Tonight I sing as the music lingers in my ear. All that is beneath is forgotten for a while. For You are the song that fills my heart. May this hearer never forget the tune of grace that floods my soul tonight. Amen.
